Statement of Faith

Belief that Messiah died for the sins of all is number one.

We will Fellowship with any who proclaim that Yeshua Messiah was born of a Virgin, died on the cross, rose three days later, after 40 days ascended to heaven and sits at the right hand of God. We believe when you ask forgiveness ( repent ) and accept Messiah then you receive the Holy Spirit.

You should also get baptized, as Messiah did. Total emersion. So it should happen as soon as possible.

You should then learn the Word; all not just part.

We believe in all the gifts of the Spirit!

Love is a must! Without it we, and everything, are nothing.

Matthew 22:36-40 Master, which is the great commandment in the Torah? 37 Yeshua said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

We believe that we should read the Bible from the point of view of the 1st century Church and the way they lived it.

We believe that we are in those generations that will see our Lord return with Power and Great Glory. In the meantime we are supposed to be about our Father?s Work, found in Matthew 25.

We preach the Gospel to the poor, try to help feed the hungry, visit the sick, visit prisoners, and keep everyone informed of world events which will lead up to Messiah?s return.

We believe that we are saved by Grace, but sin is transgression of the Torah, so by the Torah we know what sin is. We believe you first break these laws in your mind, as Messiah taught us.

The First thing you need to do is keep the 10 words or 10 commandments.

We keep the Bible Sabbath (Friday dark till Sat dark) but it is cool to worship on any day in the week. It is a Shadow of Messiah as He is our Sabbath rest.

We believe that there is only one Body or Church of Messiah, as the Word tells us we were grafted in with the Early Church which at first was all JEWS. We are grafted in among them. (12 gates to the City of New Jerusalem, named after the 12 tribes, just how will you get in?)

We also do not believe in Pre Tribulation Rapture.

We know the Feasts of the Lord are shadow pictures of what is to come. Some have been fulfilled while others will not be until Messiah?s Return. We know we are to keep them.

We know that most of the modern day Church has been passed down lies and pagan practices. That does not mean that they do not Love Messiah, but the coming tribulation is about getting the Church Right! You also cannot Knowingly sin or the sacrifice for your sins is taken away!

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses? law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

2 Timothy 3:10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good work.

Again this points back to the books before the NT was ever written, as Paul could not be referring to the NT because it was not written yet. Paul says all scripture is first given by inspiration from God. We can clearly tell this of the OT, as The Father talked directly with Moses and Moses wrote the first five books of the OT commonly called the Torah.

John 15:1-11 – I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father?s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Finally we keep the whole of the Holy Bible as it is just one book with just different parts all are needed!

In His Perfect Peace, Bro. Dan Catlin

Okay, let’s look at a source or meaning of the Word Torah. The Word Law as used in the KJV of the Holy Bible. We look to the scripture Deuteronomy 33:10 which contains the word law.

In Strong’s it says 8451 towrah { to-raw?} or torah { to-raw?} from 3384; TWOT – 910d; n f, AV – law 219; 219
GK – 9368 { hr;wTo1) law, direction, instruction

  1. instruction, direction (human or divine)
    1. body of prophetic teaching
    2. instruction in Messianic age
    3. body of priestly direction or instruction
    4. body of legal directives
  2. law
    1. law of the burnt offering
    2. of special law, codes of law
  3. custom, manner
  4. the Deuteronomic or Mosaic Law

Let us also look up the root of the word so we know where it came from. This way we shed even more light on the word Torah.

AV – teach 42, shoot 18, archers 5, cast 5, teacher 4, rain 2, laid 1, direct 1, inform 1, instructed 1, shewed 1, shooters 1, through 1, watered 1; 84

      4. to throw water, rain

      2. to shoot
      3. to point out, show
      4. to direct, teach, instruct
      5. to throw water, rain

Okay, now lets sum it all up. The word Torah as Paul uses it is to point to righteousness and/or to make the man of God Perfect. The Torah is God?s Instructions to us even now as Paul clearly points out. Again the Torah is God the Father?s Instructions to righteousness to point us to being a perfect man of God. I think the word law is not a very good translation, as while the Torah contains law it is clearly not all law; of course you should know that if you have read all of your Holy Bible, right? So I think the better meaning should be God?s Instructions and that is what the Holy Scriptures are: God?s Instructions. And if we look at it in this light, we would not to be so quick as to say it was done away with. Again I say the word law is not a good translation. Just by our nature alone it sounds like bondage, and clearly the Father?s Instructions to make the man of God Perfect should not sound like bondage.
